WHEN BioMalaysia Conference in 2002, former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, in his speech said, he used a tiger milk mushroom to treat problems experienced cough.Since then, interest in the study scientifically tiger milk mushroom for alternative medical treatment and began to steal the attention. What is really great about this tiger milk mushroom? Many may not know, a tiger milk mushroom was once widely used in traditional medicine for treating cough, vomiting and fever.After the 1960s, this herb has forgotten, when people tend to rely on modern medicine such as aspirin and paracetamol.In fact, many among the younger generation now does not recognize this mushroom dying, let alone know the properties contained in it. Previously, tiger milk mushroom is rare and it can only grow within a five kilometer of each mushroom.Through the discovery of Dr Tan, this mushroom can be harvested in large quantities after six months of cultivation through cultivation technology in a controlled environment.About the privileges of this mushroom, it is actually located on the cause. These parts are rich in nutrients.It contains a solid white and looks like milk when blended with water. It tastes like milk too.However, growth on the mushroom cap may affect the properties of this herb and it will be reduced if overcooked mushrooms. Thus, through the commercial cultivation of the culture of technology, these mushrooms are harvested before the cap is growing and with a higher nutritional value.Freeze drying processes in the commercial cultivation of mushrooms also ensure the quality of milk nutrients properly preserved tiger.Advantage of this fungus is characterized by immune coordination, significant anti-inflammatory properties and response prevention of cancer cells and recognized through scientific research.Comparable nutritional value of traditional Chinese herbs such as Lingzhi (Ganoderma Lucidum scientific name).In addition, it is identified that relieves symptoms of asthma, respiratory support health, relieve chronic cough, joint pain, including due to dengue fever, improve energy and stamina, helps skin allergies and improve the quality of life of cancer patients.
